A completely new model to be launched in March and plenty of interesting deals on the whole range of existing models during the Brussels Motor Show. That’s Mazda’s message.

To focus on the ground breaking SKYACTIV technology and the athletic KODO design of the new CX-5 compact crossover, we installed the X factor. People who are interested in the car, can book a test drive right now and win an iPad by doing so. At the same time, we communicate XXX Deals on all Mazda models: Xtreme conditions, Xtra promotions, Xciting series.

The campaign kicked off with a surprising X event for all Mazda dealers at the Brussels Atomium. The X factor will be present in all showrooms (including on iPad), in local campaigns and on the internet.

Mazda on the strip

Once a year Belgium celebrates its comic strip legacy with a big parade and all kinds of exhibitions and activities in our capital city. The adventures are typically devoured by kids and the young at heart. If there ever was a cool car for this audience, the new Mazda2 would be it. We “stripped” a special version of this car and set the stage for the adventures of our very own comic hero, MazdaMan. The rest of the coachwork was filled with blank strips for passers-by to draw on. Their masterpieces were instantly posted on Facebook. The one with the most “likes” at the end of the month wins the new Mazda2 for a whole year! Simultaneously readers and riders receive a MazdaMan T-shirt after completing a test drive at the local dealers. To be continued…

Get a taste of the many wonders of Mother Earth with HANDSEN&HANDSEN. This new brand takes us on a journey to the farthest corners of the world. We are in awe of the 7 unique collections. And, we are very much intrigued by the pure philosophy: ‘Re-source the planet’. The designs are inspired by ancient techniques that deserved to be saved from oblivion. Everything is made with the utmost respect for the planet and is once more crafted by hand. This all resulted in a range of pottery and home decoration with a heart and soul. So it was not hard to come up with a strong visual identity. The kickoff is Maison&Objet – the international trade show for the home from 9-13 September in Paris.

The backbone of the campaign is the strong belief in the pure philosophy. We have translated it into a trade stand where you can breath in HANDSEN&HANDSEN. A complete sales catalogue, an inspirational pocketguide and POS material that exhales the purity of nature are the supporting communication tools. Everything links to the website, were you can go futher and deeper in the HANDSEN&HANDSEN world and its stunning collections.

Vandekerckhove&Devos: politiek correct

U kent ze wel, de groene camionettes van Denys. U ziet ze regelmatig rijden. Een bouwbedrijf uit Wondelgem. Maar vergis u niet. Denys is een multispecialistische groep die innovatieve oplossingen exporteert naar projecten in de hele wereld. Omdat er in het Midden-Oosten een goudmijn aan nieuwe projecten in de euh… pijplijn zit, kwam Denys naar ons met de vraag om een “visitekaartje” te ontwikkelen waarmee ze buitenlandse politici en beleidsmakers kunnen imponeren. We wilden professioneel uit de hoek komen. Geloofwaardig, zonder te slijmen, en impressionant, zonder te roepen.
Shoot high, aim low. Het resultaat is dit referentieboek, een global report, gelardeerd met eerlijke beginselverklaringen en verbluffende cases. Meer moet dat niet zijn.

Communicatie is geen spelletje, maar een spel kan wel goede communicatie zijn. Voor Mazda hebben we dan ook een online game in elkaar gestoken waarmee je kans maakt op een roadster weekend. Vorig jaar hadden we een vlammende Mazda MX-5 ontworpen voor The Black Box Revelation, dit jaar staat de legendarische roadster helemaal in het teken van het voetbal. Mazda sponsort immers Zamante, het sociale netwerk voor voetbalspelers en -supporters. Via de online game maken heel wat sportieve geesten kennis met de roadster spirit van Mazda en krijgt Mazda er een paar supporters bij.

Vandekerckhove&Devos kwam met een leuk idee op de proppen voor Bostoen.
Een heuse scholenactie. We maakten de kinderen wegwijs in het begrip ‘passief’ op een speelse manier. Want jong geleerd, is oud gedaan.

Aan het educatieve luik was ook een wedstrijd verbonden. Elke klas die een pakket bestelde, kreeg een Passiefhuis in karton dat ze naar eigen smaak mochten versieren.
De creatiefste huisjes maakten kans op slimme prijzen. Een energie-audit voor de school of een set duurzame zitbanken. Op zondag 29 mei werd de wedstrijd afgesloten.
Binnenkort komt Jan Hoet de winnaars persoonlijk feliciteren.
